Founder and Director Ian Dear brings over 30years of experience in construction, design, and project delivery. Having managed a wide range of high-end residential renovations, Ian is known for his calm approach, deep technical knowledge, and attention to detail across every stage of a build.
He founded Carrara Sandbanks to bring together the right mix of people — skilled trades, reliable professionals, and trusted consultants — all working towards a shared standard of excellence. Ian personally oversees every project from first consultation through to final handover, ensuring each client receives a clear, tailored process and a beautifully finished result.
