Situated within the Mirage development in Sandbanks, this apartment offers more than 2,000 sq ft of living space, with views across Poole Harbour towards Poole Quay and the beach just a short walk away. The owners loved the location, views and generous proportions, but wanted to replace the existing interior with something more personal. Their vision was a comfortable family retreat with the character of a traditional beach house, favouring warmth, natural textures and understated coastal colours over a formal contemporary scheme. Carrara Sandbanks was commissioned to undertake the refurbishment, introducing extensive bespoke wall panelling, traditional detailing and a softer interior palette throughout the apartment. A new kitchen, designed with a relaxed coastal character and incorporating a walk-in pantry, became a central feature of the work. The completed interior combines the comfort of a family second home with the traditional finishes the owners had envisaged, creating a relaxed setting for their time in Sandbanks.
