Situated on Panorama Road, The Mariners is one of three townhouses originally designed with two bedrooms on the ground floor, the kitchen and main living accommodation on the first floor, and two further bedrooms above. ​The owners loved the property and its location, but wanted a more practical arrangement for their family holiday home, with the principal living spaces opening directly onto the garden. ​Carrara Sandbanks was commissioned to undertake an extensive refurbishment, relocating the kitchen and living areas to the ground floor and installing bifold doors to provide direct garden access. Two bedrooms were created on the first floor, while the existing bedrooms on the second floor were retained. The work also included a complete electrical rewire, new plumbing and a comprehensive interior refurbishment. Contemporary finishes and understated coastal influences give the four-bedroom townhouse a relaxed, welcoming character, with a layout better suited to family life and time spent by the coast.
